Justin Acker has been an invaluable member of our team since 2015. With a strong focus on auditing government contractors and employee benefit plans, Justin brings expertise in not-for-profit entities, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DCAA audit compliance, incurred cost submissions (ICS), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
He is actively involved with recruiting efforts for the firm and plays an important role in training team members within the audit department.
Justin is passionate about helping his clients succeed. He works alongside his clients to ensure they are obtaining the necessary support to help them achieve their professional goals. Knowing he is making a difference in client decision-making processes motivates Justin to do the best work he possibly can.
Justin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salisbury University’s Purdue School of Business in 2009. Additionally, Justin holds a CPA certification in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
Outside of work, Justin is an avid sports enthusiast, especially for Washington, DC (DMV) teams. He finds joy in family time and participating in all the activities that his kids are passionate about.
